Pro Tips: Farm week is an excellent opportunity to discuss with your kiddos how are food is sustainably raised and produced. Interesting topics of discussion include: where do fruits & vegetables come from? What is harvest season? Where does meat come from and different types of eating preferences (vegan, vegetarian, etc.)?

Horse Cookies
These adorable no bake horse cookies by savoryexperiments.com are super cute and easy to make with just a few ingredients. All you need are Milano cookies, or any other oblong cookie with a plain shell, mini Nilla wafers, a Tootsie Roll, cartoon eyes, licorice strings, frosting and an edible pen.
GAME
Pin the Tail on the Horse
This classic game is great for any age and with a little help, even your littlest kiddos can play! This printable features Bullseye (the horse from Toy Story) and it’s a great free toddler printable activity for the afternoon of your horse activity day.

Horse Maze
There’s no better way to challenge your kiddo’s patience than with a maze! And this one is sure to do the trick. A great printable toddler activity, this horse maze by familyfriendlywork.org is easy to download and print and work through together.
BONUS
Spirit Stallion of Cimarron
To get into the horsey spirit, this DreamWorks created a TV series called Riding Free based on the movie Spirit Stallion of Cimarron. It’s a great way to cuddle up on the couch together with some popcorn and watch the movie! Or you can horse-around all week and start the series which has 8 Seasons!
